Greg is a native of Wytheville, VA where he started his funeral career in 1988 at the age of 18.  He graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta.  He later was a Manager in Williamsburg, VA in which he eventually had the opportunity to purchase the oldest funeral home in America.  After 10 years, he moved to Rock Hill, SC and became Managing Partner of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.  He has over 30 years of funeral/cremation background and is married to Yesi, he has two children Luke and Lexi, and two "bonus" children Elyse and Emily.

Jeff McWatters felt a call to ministry during his senior year at Chester High School and pursued that calling by graduating from North Greenville College (AA-1985), Gardner-Webb University (BA - 1987), and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master -1990).  He has served on the staff of several churches in North and South Carolina including locally Pleasant Valley Baptist Church (Associate Pastor and Youth Minister) and the founding pastor of Fort Mill Community Church.

In 2006 Jeff joined the staff at Whitesell Funeral Home becoming a licensed funeral director.  He enjoys using his spiritual gifts to minister to families through his role as a funeral director.  Jeff was named manager of Whitesell Funeral Home in September 2016.

Jeff is married to Karen McWatters (1989) and they have three children, Stephanie, Justin and his wife, Elena, and Taylor.  Their family is actively involved in Forest Hill Church Fort Mill Campus where Jeff serves on the security team for the children’s ministry and enjoys leading bible study in their small group.

Francesca Ferrell Stone is a graduate of Nation Ford High School and York Technical College with a degree in Early Childhood Development. She recently graduated from Piedmont Technical College with a degree in Funeral Service. She loves spending time with her husband, Lucas, and their son. Francesca plans to continue her career as a funeral director/embalmer with Palmetto Funeral Group. Her passion for helping families through their most difficult time is unsurpassed.

Neicha Nicole Torres, of Puerto Rican descent, is a bilingual graduate of Penn Foster High School and Fayetteville Technical Community College, where she earned her degree in Funeral Service Education. She is pursuing her career as a funeral director and embalmer with Palmetto Funeral Group, dedicated to serving families with dignity, compassion, and care. Outside of her profession, Neicha enjoys spending time with her daughter, cooking for her family, and watching documentaries with her pets.

Gina Garrison is a graduate of Winthrop University and Piedmont Technical College.  She is a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer with the South Carolina and North Carolina Boards of Funeral Service and a licensed Advanced Funeral Planner in South Carolina.  She is also a Funeral Celebrant.  Gina lives in Fort Lawn with her husband, Glenn, and they have two children and five grandchildren.

Ashley is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. 

Travis joined our team in March of 2025 as a Funeral Director Apprentice. With a strong background in property management and over 15 years of customer service experience, Travis brings exceptional care and professionalism to every family served. Dedicated to growing in the industry he is excited to be a part of Palmetto Funeral Group. 

As the administrative assistant at Palmetto Funeral Home, Ashley is often the first point of contact for families. She values offering kindness and steady support during difficult times. Bilingual in Spanish and English, she helps ensure a comfortable and compassionate experience for families from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with her children and discovering new places around Charlotte.

Kathy Cook is the Office Manager at Whitesell Funeral Home.  Kathy started out at our Palmetto Funeral Home location in August of 2017 and moved to Whitesell in May of 2018.  Kathy brings 19 years of experience as a Customer Service Manager for Belk Credit Card Services.  Kathy is truly a people person and enjoys providing the highest level of service possible to our families.

Kathy was born in New Castle, PA, and moved to Rock Hill in 1981.  Kathy is married and had one daughter who passed away in 2009.  Kathy feels that working with our families is a gift she has been given.  It helps her to find peace in every opportunity that she is given to reach out to our families with true understanding and help them in any way in their time of loss.

Jessica Carrion joined our team in December 2023 as our dedicated Administrative Assistant. With over 6 years of valuable experience in customer service, Jessica is committed to delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction. Her goal is to ensure that every interaction with families and our company is positive and efficient.
