Zachary Hunter Ballard

Catawba, SC - Mr. Zachary (Zack) Hunter Ballard, 26, died Tuesday, March 17, 2021, at Piedmont Medical Center. 

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. 

A native of Rock Hill, SC he was the son of Terry Dean Ballard and Melissa Roberts Ballard.   He was a 2012 graduate of Rock Hill High School.   He was a past employee of Bass Cauthen Funeral Home and Rock Hill Memorial Gardens and 360 Landscaping.  He will be remembered as a man who loved his two children and his family felt blessed to have him as a part of their lives.  He loved to go fishing. He had an infectious personality and a great sense of humor.   He was a beloved father, son, brother, and uncle and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

Surviving in addition to his parents, are his daughter, Aubree Olivia Ballard; a son, Jaxton Cole Ballard; a brother, Nick Ballard and his wife, Erica Ballard; two nieces, Ava Dellinger and Arbor Ballard; a paternal grandfather, David Ballard, Sr. a maternal grandmother, Helen Roberts; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary Alice Ballard, his maternal grandfather, William Roberts, Sr. 

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to Anchor Ministries, 814 Teaberry Lane, Rock Hill SC 29730.  The family appreciates the work of Anchor Ministries as they preach and teach the gospel and lend a helping hand to families that are struggling with addiction issues.
