Shirley Davis Mason

Shirley Davis Mason, 86, of Edisto Island, S.C. passed away on September 13, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruth Davis of Greenville, S.C.  
She was a retired business owner, former nurse and jewelry designer and artisan. 
She enjoyed sailing, camping, and all things related to the beach. She was an avid Clemson Tiger football fan and also adored her two Chesapeake retrievers Katie and Beau and her dog Mutt. 
She was a loving and dedicated mother and wife and is survived by her husband, Thomas A. Mason, daughters Lane Hankinson Luke of Matthews, N.C. and Ann Hankinson Giles of Greenville, S. C.; four granddaughters Ryan McNamara Swinson and Meredith Ann McNamara of Greenville, S.C., Holly Luke Somerville of Kannapolis, N.C. and Sara Lane Luke of Winter Haven, Florida. She had six great grandchildren, Kyle Matthew Somerville and Chloe Ryan Somerville of Kannapolis, NC., Cooper Thomas Clark of Winter Haven, Florida, Crawford Lee Swinson, Davis Edward Swinson and Whitner Hayes Swinson of Greenville, S.C.  
There will be a family memorial in lieu of a visitation or funeral.
