Noraleen Plyler Smith

Noraleen Smith, 88 passed away on Friday May 28, 2021 in her home.  She was born in Pageland, South Carolina to the late Carl and Mattie Plyler.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years Carrol W. Smith.  Noraleen was also preceded in death by four brothers; Leston Plyler, Lewis Plyler, Ray Plyler, and Belmer Plymer.  Also three sisters; Nettie Mae Aycoth, Dorothy Ross, and Naomi Walker.  

Noraleen retired from Microtron in Pineville, North Carolina.  She was an active member of Fort Mill Church of God where she participated in the Young at Heart Senior Citizen group.  

Ms. Smith is survived by her three children; Michael (Kimberly) Smith, Marie Owens and Dennis Ellis. She is survived by four grandchildren; Shelby (john) Grennan, Renee (Michael) Ruff, Kevin (Amy) Owens, and Todd (Karin) Ellis and six great grandchildren.  

There will be a memorial service on Thursday June 3, 2021 in the chapel at Fort Mill Church of God at 2:00pm.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
