Chester, SC – Mr. Michael Deese, 64, died Friday, May 26, 2023, at Pruitt Health Estill.

Born in Lancaster, SC, Mr. Deese was a son of the late James Maxwell “Pete” Deese and Gertie Bigham Deese. He enjoyed woodworking, spending time with family, and going fishing. He loved watching Carolina Gamecock Football. He was a race fan, and his favorite racer was Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Mary Miller Deese; two children, Nikki Howard (Buster) and Michael Deese (Kristen); 6 grandchildren, Cadence Deese, Luke Howard, Skylar Deese, Layla Howard, Brayden Deese, and Lainey Howard and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends and family 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm Monday, May 29, 2023, at the home of his daughter, Nikki Howard, 1975 Sanders Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730. If you cannot make the receiving time you are invited to drop in anytime before.
