Command Sgt. Major Kenneth Ray McCleod aka "Kenny" born February 12, 1968 in Morristown NJ Passed away November 21,2020. 

Kenny graduated from Northwestern High School in Rock Hill SC. Class of 1986 and enlisted in the military straight out of high school. He fought in Operation Dessert Shield (Persian Gulf) Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan), Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq) and won several awards including a combat award (bronze Star-Iraqi Freedom War). During his military career he attended TUI University & Excelsior University earning a bachelor's degree in business. He also attended Sergeant Major Academy  August 2008- May 2009 class 59. Kenneth enjoyed riding his Harley and was a member of Rare Breed MC and served as road captain.

He is preceded in death by one brother Raymond Roddey.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Carmen Rosario McCleod (Linda). Parents Ray & Susie McCleod of Rock Hill SC. Children  Kenneth Ray Mccleod Jr & Tempress McCleod of Lexington Kentucky, Vanessa McCleod & Shanice Braun of Germany, Aumary McCleod of Blythewood SC. Stepchildren Kleiry De Jesus (Christopher) of Rock Hill, SC and Emanuel Popa (Mayrelis) of Newburgh, NY.  Siblings Sonja McCleod (Robert) of Montgomery AL, Ray Mccleod Jr. Of Rock Hill SC, Jannetta McCleod Adams(Bryan) of Charlotte NC, and Sam Lee McCleod (Jessica) of Rock Hill SC,  Uncles Willie McCleod of Rock Hill S C & David Shelton of Opelika AL, four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. 

Most important to him was his family, he will for ever be remembered as a loving, caring husband, son, brother, dad, grandparent, uncle, and friend.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the frontline nurses, physicians and staff, his beloved family and friends for the unwavering compassionate and supportive care that was provided. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
