Jeremy Michael Lewis

Jeremy lived a very full and successful life in his 32 years. He traveled the country and enjoyed nature and many outdoor hobbies, from rollerblading, skateboarding, snowboarding, skimboarding, jet-skiing, hiking, mountain biking, disc golf, soccer, basketball and four wheeling. He loved everything about Jeeps, from the constant customizing and repair work to the open air of dirt, rocks, and mud. His loyalty to the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets was so contagious and unwavering that one couldn’t help but want to join him in his enthusiasm. In Jeremy's other free time, he enjoyed social interaction with video gamer friends. He had one of the highest Xbox gamer scores in the world. Jeremy also enjoyed playing billiards and darts, building complex Lego structures, and especially enjoyed entertaining children on their level. He was a collector of Jordan sneakers and Ralph Lauren apparel. He was an incredibly loyal friend and cherished every connection he made. Jeremy worked around the clock for his employers, but would always take time to be friendly and helpful to everyone around him.

Though his life was shorter than expected, he made an impact in the world with his infectious laughter and passion for life. May memories of Jeremy’s fun loving spirit continue to fill our hearts with love, and encourage us to make the most of every day, while taking time to connect with others as Jeremy did. Jeremy is survived by his father Steve Lewis, mother Linda Lewis, sister Casey West, brother-in-law Gabriel West, niece Kylee West, nephew Kalab West, fiancée Lexi Sharpe, grandfathers Jerry Lewis and John Alexander, grandmother LaVonne Alexander, Uncle Russel Porterfield, aunts Deanna Alexander, Sharon Lewis, and Stephanie Swanson, as well as 8 first cousins.

There will be a memorial service Sunday September 12, 2021 at MorningStar Church at 2:00pm.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
