Jakarta Marie Eckhart

Jakarta Marie Eckhart, age 59, born in Stipshausen, Germany June 30,1962, went home to be with the Lord on May 16, 2022. Jakarta fought a courageous battle with cancer and continued to live life to its fullest right up to the end.

Jakarta graduated Yeadon High School 1981, attended Moore College of Art and received a bachelor’s degree from Neumann university 

She was a employee of American Airlines for 25 years and enjoyed traveling the world. Jakarta had a successful  career in marketing and, from there, started her own desk top publishing company. She has been an active volunteer most of her life from being involved in the Make a Wish Foundation and assisted in transporting shelter animals.   She was faithfully dedicated every day providing prayers and support to those in need through several prayer lines. 
Predeceased by her parents, Hildegard and Andrew Bluford and her brother Marcus Muckenfuss.  Survived by her sister Kathleen Muckenfuss, brother Ralf Muckenfuss, and sister-in-law Brenda Muckenfuss, and her former spouse Pierce Eckhart.   Also survived by nieces, nephews, family in Germany, friends and her beloved great nephew Reiner Hamilton Muckenfuss. 
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on, Saturday,  May 28, 2022, at Christ Church Ithan, 536 Conestoga Rd., Villanova, PA.  Visitation at 12 to 1 , followed by a service.

If you can learn anything from her life, it is to  trust in the Lord, live life to it’s fullest and be kind to one another. Jakarta was a wonderful, loving  person who will be missed and remain in our hearts forever.
