Elizabeth Davidson Obituary

Elizabeth “Betty” Long Davidson, born July 10, 1953, passed away at her home in Rock Hill on January 31, 2020.

Ms. Davidson was the daughter of the late Edward C. Long and the late Mary B. Long. She was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and grew up in Norris, Tennessee.

She graduated from East Tennessee State University in 1973 and retired from a long career as a machine mechanic at TE Connectivity in 2017. Ms. Davidson was very kind, generous and had a great sense of humor. She was an avid Italian Greyhound enthusiast and loved to collect dragon figurines.

She is survived by her precious Iggy pup, Sassy, her best friend and “granddaughter” Haley Perez (Tony) and two “great grandchildren”, Alex and Rosalee.

Ms. Davidson’s arrangements will be handled by Whitesell Funeral Home.

All services will be held privately.
