Boyce Cauthen

Rock Hill, SC - Boyce Cauthen, age 82, passed away at his home Tuesday April 19, 2022. He was born May 12, 1939, in Camden, a son of the late Boyd Cauthen and Louise Thompson Cauthen. He was married to the late Alene J. Cauthen. He was a welding inspector at Catawba Nuclear Plant for Duke Power. After retirement he enjoyed classic cars and going to car shows. He enjoyed spending time with his dog Lilly and working in his yard.

Mr. Cauthen is survived by his sons, Randy ( Carol ) of Lancaster and Ray of Edge Moor, eight grandchildren, Courtney (Patrick) Marshall, Ashley Cauthen, Mallory Cauthen, Sydney Cauthen, Buster Cauthen, Kandis ( Justin ) Faile, Sierra Cauthen, Cheyenne Cauthen, and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Ed ( Barbara ) Cauthen and sister Lucy Perry and a number of nieces and nephews.

A gathering to celebrate the life of Mr. Cauthen will be Friday April 22, 2022 from 4-6 pm at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home located at 700 Heckle Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29730.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
