Zeferina Hercules

CHARLOTTE - Zeferina Hercules, 87, of 5429 Apple Glen Drive, died Friday, November 13, 2015, at her home.

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Wednesday, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2500 Rocky River Road, Charlotte. Burial will follow in the Charlotte Memorial Cemetery, 7632 Hood Rd., Charlotte. The family will receive friends at Whitesell Funeral Home, Rock Hill, Tuesday, from 6-8PM.

Zeferina passed peacefully from this life after a gradual decline in health. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born in El Salvador, and came to the US in 1979. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She raised 12 children all on her own and was a very hard working dedicated loving mother. Zeferina is survived by 11 children, 62 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren, and 7 great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister.

She loved to make beaded necklaces for her grandchildren and loved to give time and service to others. She was a strong woman, full of love, who made others feels special with her sweet smile.
