Chester, SC - Mr. William (Bill) Robert Stiver, 79, died Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Wayne T. Patrick House.

A native of Blair, PA, Bill was a son of the late Mae Stiver. He was a truck driver by trade which allowed him to travel to many different states. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending his free time riding the backroads. He also enjoyed sitting by a campfire telling stories of his past and enjoying a glass of unsweet tea. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a man who never meet a stranger.

Bill is survived by two sons, Mike and Pam Stiver of SC, and Billy and Holly Stiver of PA; grandchildren, Brad and Kaitlyn Stiver of Tenn., Christopher and Jami Stiver of SC, Kelly and Brandon Garvin of SC, Daniel and Trinity Stiver of PA, and Keith Gates of PA; great-grandchildren, Dawson, Dayton, Emma, Ryder, Adalynn, Mylee, Levi, Cameron, Savanna, Terrie, Taylor and Lenox. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Walter Stiver; and grandson, Scott William Stiver.
