William Loren Pelton

Fort Mill, SC William Loren Pelton age 77 of Fort Mill passed away Friday July 5th at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, born in September 15, 1935 a son of the late William Herbert and Ethel Evoy Pelton. Mr. Pelton was retired truck driver, member of Fort Mill Church of God, where he served as a prayer partner, and member of the American Legion and served in US Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict, he also loved to fish and hunt. Survivors include his wife; Esther Smith Pelton; one son Paul Pelton and wife Sabrina, Cooperas Cove, TX; three daughters Aggie Plourde and husband David of Raleigh, NC; Laura Combs, Tammy Pelton and fiancé Marc Pendergrass all of Rock Hill, SC; brothers James "Jimmy" Pelton, and Bruce "Butch" Pelton both of Rome, NY; sisters Virginia Johnston of Vancouver, WA; and Jean Smith of Lake Helen, FL; six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will he held Tuesday July 9th, 2013 at 5:00 at Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bob Lang officiating.
