William Larry Carlisle

William Larry Carlisle of Fort Mill, SC died April 21, 2016 at Harbor Chase in Rock Hill, SC. He was 70 years old.

Visitation is Monday April 25th from 6-8 pm at Palmetto Funeral home 2049 Carolina Place drive, Fort Mill, SC. The funeral will be Tuesday April 26th at 1:00 pm at Community Presbyterian Church 600 N. White street, Fort Mill SC. Steve Sanders and William Howard Carlisle will be officiating. Mr. Carlisle will be having a military service.

Larry was the son of William Howard Carlisle Sr and Myrtle Faulk Carlisle. He is survived by his wife Jean Carlisle of Fort Mill. His daughter Carrie Carlisle Wild and son-in-law Brian Wild of Fort Mill. Two grandchildren Greyson Carlisle Wild and Lucas Brian Wild. His brothers Rob Carlisle of Rockingham, NC, Nabe Carlisle of Wendell, NC, William Howard Carlisle of Rockingham, NC. One sister Marcile Carlisle of Laurinburg, NC.

Larry served in the army and was in the Vietnam war. He was a member of the American Legion post #43 of Fort Mill.

Larry loved to hunt, fish, and garden. He loved his grandchildren Greyson and Lucas more than anything. More importantly he loved to watch them play ball. He was a great Popa and will be missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Presbyterian Church 600 N. White street, Fort Mill SC.
