William "Buddy" Anderson

Lancaster - Mr. William "Buddy" Thomas Anderson, 73, of 6061 Serenity Lane, died Thursday, August 27, 2015, at his home.

Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, at Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene, 998 Dunlap Roddey Road, Rock Hill, SC. The family will receive friends from 5 -6 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

A native of Cumberland County, Mr. Anderson was a son of the late William Curry Anderson and Frances Louise Blackwell McCoy. Mr. Anderson will be remembered as a loving, family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He liked to go fishing and spend time at the beach. He was also a jokester. He worked as a manager of a Crown convenience store in Charlotte, NC.

Surviving are his wife, Karen Knight Anderson; a son, William Joseph Anderson and his wife, Keke; a daughter, Teresa L. Anderson and her husband, Walo Crawford; a sister, Elizabeth Anderson; and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Rice.
