Wendy Phelps Bedwell

Wendy Phelps Bedwell age 54 of Fort Mill, SC was welcomed into her heavenly rest, Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She was born in Danville, VA the daughter of Buddie and Reita Phelps.

Wendy had an eye for beauty and a skill for decorating that she used to build a successful Home Interiors and Design business. She used her talents to add beauty to many homes, offices and special events. She was a gifted vocalist who used her voice to touch many lives with words of faith and encouragement. Wendy enjoyed the beauty of God's creation especially flowers and the beach. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ who is now enjoying being in the presence of her Lord and Savior. She will be greatly missed by family and friends impacted by her life and love.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Jeff; her daughter, Tara (Caleb) Mann; grandson, Colton Mann; son, Travis Bedwell; mother, Reita (George) Bowles; brother, B.J. (Jeanene) Phelps; sister, Tina Ball; loving in-laws, nieces and nephews and a host of life-long friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Buddie Lee Phelps Sr.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 16 at 3:00 pm at Fort Mill First Baptist Church with Rev. Ned Duncan and Rev. Ralph Riley officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, April 15 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Fort Mill First Baptist Church.
