Wando Lawnson Neal

CLOVER - Mr. Wando Lawnson Neal, 90, of 2130 Frog Pond Dr., died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at Vaughan Baptist Church in Vaughan WV, Thursday May 1, 2014. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00pm and church services will begin at 4:00pm, followed by a graveside service at Vaughan Cemetery.

Born in Twenty Mile, WV, he is the son of the late Arnal and Mabel Brown Neal.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Taylor Neal; three sons, Wando Neal (Rebecca WIlliams Neal), Donald Neal (Loria Kuntz Neal), and Dickie Neal (Jackie Jarrett Neal); three daughters, Rebecca Neil (Fred), Victoria Facemire (Lionel), and Tona Williams (Darrell); three sisters, Lydia Neal, Doris Kinder, Clairce Shore, and Eloise Holcomb; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren.

Lonsie was a loving husband of 61 years, known for his kindness and generosity. He believed in helping a neighbor and growing his annual vegetable garden big enough to share with members of the community. He was a Veteran and Purple Heart recipient of WWII. His passing will be mourned. His life celebrated.
