Violet Harris Wilson

Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Violet Harris Wilson, 90, died Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Spring Arbor of Steele Creek.

The family will receive friends 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, 700 Heckle Blvd., Rock Hill, SC 29730, and a funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Rock Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at other times on Thursday and Friday from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the home of Todd Wilson.

A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Wilson was a daughter of the late George Furman Harris and Bertha George Harris. She was a proud member of the Catawba Nation. She won the title Mrs. Senior Catawba three times. She and her husband, Leroy loved to square dance. She was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother, who enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s soccer games.

Surviving are her son, Todd Wilson (Margie); a brother, Mitchell Harris; a sister, Sharon Adkins; five grandchildren, Heather Mitchell (Tyler), Wade Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Cameron Moore and Kelsey Moore; and two great-grandchildren, Cali Mitchell and Aubree Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Wilson; two brothers, Homer Harris and Paul Harris; and two sisters, Lorraine Griggs and Rosa Humphries.
