Vincent Cantore, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and loyal friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, May 18, 2025, after a long illness. He was 79 years old.
Born on June 6, 1945, Vincent was the beloved son of the late Attilio and Mary Cantore. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Roseann Cantore; his cherished son, Michael Cantore, and loving daughter-in-law, Kristan Cantore; his dear brother Pat Cantore; and his adored granddaughters, Chloe and Olivia.
Vincent was a dedicated and skilled airline mechanic, spending over three decades with US Airways. His commitment to his craft and his colleagues was unwavering, and he often spoke with pride and affection about his years of service and the many friendships he formed along the way.
Beyond his career, Vincent had a deep love for family and a gift for storytelling. He found joy in gathering with loved ones, sharing memories, and talking about his favorite subject—airplanes. He was also a lifelong fan of oldies music, which always brought a smile to his face and a spark to his step.
Vincent's warmth, humor, and generous spirit will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.
A private service will be held by the family.
