Tressie Totherow Patterson

Fort Mill - Mrs. Tressie Faye Totherow Patterson, 95, of 612 Elberta Lance, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 31, 2013.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Whitesell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Cherry Road. The family will receive friends 1:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at the home, 612 Elberta Lane, Fort Mill, SC.

A native of Macon County, GA, Mrs. Patterson was a daughter of the late George Glenn Totherow and Fannie Elizabeth Grizzel Totherow.

Surviving are four sons, Billy Joe Patterson, Albert Walter Patterson, Don Patterson, and Michael Leroy Patterson; eight daughters, Cathy Patterson, Azealee Faye Bass, Florene Locklair, Janice Dawson, Libby Higgingbotham, Peggy Sue Bayne, Betty Jean Gregory, and Lisa Bailey; three brothers, Edward Totherow, Rathiel Totherow, and Elmer Totherow; one sister, Dorcus Moore; 39 Grandchildren; 143 Great-Grandchildren and 36 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Renia Patterson and Martha Gordon; six brothers, L.J. Totherow, C.W. Totherow, Doyle Totherow, Clarence Totherow, Dennis Totherow and Arlene Totherow and a sister, Mildred Clark. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Walter Patterson.
