Tracy Tedder, age 59, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, in Pineville, North Carolina, following a courageous battle with bile duct cancer.

Born on August 28, 1966, in Tampa, Florida, Tracy lived a life marked by intelligence, compassion, and a wonderful sense of humor. She was an avid reader who valued learning and personal growth throughout her life. Tracy earned a Master’s degree in Business and built a successful career in finance, concluding her professional journey with Research Planning, Inc. in Columbia, South Carolina.

Above all else, Tracy cherished her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Chad Carlton; her daughters, Elizabeth, Stephanie, and Sophie; her parents, Tony and Sally; and her sisters, Lori and Amy. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, adventurous spirit, and love of travel, as well as the warmth and joy she brought to those around her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tracy’s life at a memorial gathering on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Green Space Plant, 151 E. Main Street, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29730.

Tracy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will continue to inspire those who loved her, and her legacy of strength, love, and generosity will never be forgotten.
