Tony Carter

Rock Hill - Tony Leon Carter, 45, of 1908 Reservation Road, died Thursday, March 25, 2010, at his home.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Monday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Catawba Ward Reservation Road with Bishop Milton Osborn and Sammy Beck officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A native of Rock Hill, he was a son of the late Gerald "Jerry" Beck Sr. and Dorothy Carpenter Beck. He was a former employee of BoWater where he worked as a carpenter and he also worked at McDonald Electrical Services as an electrician. He enjoyed working with leather for his Native American Heritage.

Surviving are his grandmother, Helen Beck; four brothers, Roy J. Carpenter, Randall S. Beck, John E Carpenter and Gerald L. Beck Jr.; and nine nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Whitesell Funeral Home.
