Obituary

Thomas Earl Nance Jr. known as “Lil Tommy "age 48, passed away on March 20, 2026 while doing what he loved the most -climbing trees, a profession he dedicated over 30 years of his life to. Born August 4, 1977, to the eldest Thomas Earl Nance Sr. and Kimberly Nance (Sexton).

Outside of work Tommy was a devoted sports fan. He cheered faithfully for the Washington Redskins alongside with his Aunt Dayna saying "How bout them Cowboys" the South Carolina Gamecocks, the North Carolina Tar Hills, & the Atlanta Braves. He was also a fan of NASCAR racing. He had a deep love for his country and ALWAYS displayed an American flag in his yard. Tommy enjoyed the simple things in life, playing pool, cooking out, & spending time with family and friends. He never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel welcome. Known for his big heart & easy-going spirit, Tommy was someone people were naturally drawn to. Above all, Tommy loved his children more than life itself. His family was his greatest pride and joy. He was also a proud “mommas boy” sharing a close and loving bond with his mother.
