Terry Gene Sexton

Rock Hill - Mr. Terry Gene Sexton, 56, died Friday, May 19, 2017.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Whitesell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park.

A native of York County, Mr. Sexton was a son of the late Richard Sexton and Nancy Shackelford Sexton. Terry loved going fishing and hunting. He enjoyed his cup of coffee. He loved spending time with his family. He also liked to work on lawnmowers and other small engines.

Surviving are a son, Richard Dean Sexton; three brothers, Donald Sexton (Joyce), Grover Sexton (Beth), and Jerry Sexton (Lisa); two sisters, Nellie Ammons (Wayne) and Janet Long (Timothy); and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Dale Sexton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to God's Way Ministry, 1368 Old Friendship Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
