Ted Walker

Ted L. Walker, 85, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away on September 13, 2025. Ted was born in Fort Mill, SC to the late Vester W. Walker and Margaret Ann Ligon on September 14, 1939.

Ted is preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Walker; his sister, Vivan Kennard; and his brother, Bill Walker.

Ted is survived by his daughter Melissa Walker-Price (Eric M. Price), his sister-in-laws, Glenda Walker and Delia “Dee” Addison; nieces, Cathy Cump, and Ginger Addison; nephews, Eddie Kennard and Larry Walker.

Ted enjoyed gardening, auto racing, and cooking. He attended First Baptist Church in Fort Mill. He is a member of Masonic Lodge Catawba 56 Fort Mill, Hejaz Shriners Rock Hill, and the American Legion Post 43 Fort Mill.

The visitation will be September 19th at 10a.m and service will be at 11a.m at Park Pointe village, 3025 Chesbrough Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

The burial will be at Unity Cemetery at 12.
