Tammy Hoffman Bishop

Tammy Hoffman Bishop, 60, went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2025. Tammy was born August 22, 1964, in Rock Hill, South Carolina to Carl Thomas Hoffman, Jr. and Bonnie Kimbrell Hoffman. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents. Tammy is survived by her husband Gary Bishop, her son, Justin Bishop (Sara), brother, Carl Trip Hoffman (Jennifer) and nephews, Smith, Hudson and Will Hoffman.

Tammy had a career she found fulfilling as a Medical Laboratory Technician for many years and was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Tammy was a loving wife, mom, daughter and sibling. Known as a caring and nurturing person, she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She devoted her time and energy to raising Justin and making the people around her happy. Tammy was joyful and enthusiastic about just having fun. She always had a smile on her face and especially enjoyed her time at the beach, lake or family gatherings. Her favorite getaway was the beach, mostly tanning and looking for shark’s teeth. In her free time, she also enjoyed taking Justin on adventures and volunteering at his school events and boy scouts.

Family meant a great deal to Tammy. Her family and loved ones will miss her tremendously and will always treasure her memory.

A celebration of life will be held at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home in Rock Hill, SC. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. and the Funeral service will be from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday July 5, 2025. Fellowship to follow service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Tammy’s name to the Hospice & Community Care Center in Rock Hill.
