Stella Alberta Stroud

Stella Alberta Bigham Stroud, 84, of 4034A Stoneybrook Lane, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. A native of Lando, Ms. Stroud was born November 20, 1925 a daughter of the late Robert and Monteen Brooks Bigham. She was a retired from Manetta Mills in Lando and was a member of Lando Church of God. Ms. Stroud was preceded in death by two brothers Charles and Robert Bigham; a sister Freddie Mauldin and a granddaughter Melanie Waldrop. Surviving are her children Annette Stroud Waldrop of Rock Hill, Wayne Stroud and his wife Judy of Edgemoor, Dwight "Randy" Stroud and his wife Carolyn of Edgemoor, Sherri Stroud Walton and her husband Doug of Fort Mill; a sister Annie Wright of Richburg; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Stroud will be held Friday at 3:00pm at Lando Church of God with Reverend Edward Harris and Reverend Larry Nivens officiating. Interment will follow in the Lando Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00pm at the church prior to the service on Friday and other times at the home of her son Wayne Stroud 3621 Mt. Holly Road in Edgemoor.
