Shirley Moss Lineberger – Devoted Christian, Mother, and Grandmother

Shirley Moss Lineberger, 79, of Rock Hill, SC, passed peacefully to her heavenly reward on August 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in York County, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kennedy Lineberger.

Shirley was a faithful member of the Charlotte Avenue church of Christ in Rock Hill. She was deeply involved in many areas of church work, including sending cards to members, being active within the ladies’ group, serving closely in the prison ministry, and serving wherever she was able, being a powerful example to those around her. Shirley was an active member of Al-Anon, an organization that provides help to families affected by a loved one’s addiction.

Shirley loved being surrounded by God’s beautiful creation in nature and was especially passionate about birds. As a native, she was a “Bearcat Babe” for Rock Hill High School, and spent her professional life pouring into local businesses as an office supplies sales rep. She sold paper and workplace essentials, building lasting relationships with businesses in York, Chester and Lancaster.

Shirley is survived by her brother Eddie Moss (Cathy) and her children, Robin Lineberger Pincus (Rick) and Edward Jason Lineberger (Amy) and her four grandchildren Lauren Pincus, Jenna Pincus, Nyla Perez (Isaiah) and Zachary Logan Lineberger.

A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Charlotte Ave Church of Christ, 339 Charlotte Ave., Rock Hill, SC.
