Shirley Jean Brock Boone, 69, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville. A native of Chesterfield, SC, Ms. Boone was born December 30, 1941 a daughter of the late Daniel William Brock, Sr. and the late Anna Belle Hanna Brock. She was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons Kenneth Wayne and Paul Jeffrey Boone and a brother Daniel William Brock, II. She is survived by her son Derek Boone and his wife Jennifer of Catawba; and eight grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Friday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Boone will be held Saturday at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Catledge officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
