Sarah Gay Nelson

Fort Mill – Ms. Sarah Gay Nelson, 82, died Monday, October 17, 2022, at Wayne T Patrick Hospice House.

The family will receive friends 5 – 6:30 pm, Friday, October 21, 2022, at Whitesell Funeral Home.

A native of Murphy, NC, Ms. Nelson was a daughter of the late Theodore and Lois Nelson.  She was a 1957 graduate of Fort Mill High School.  She enjoyed reading and listening to gospel music.  When she was younger, she loved to garden.

She is survived by her Goddaughter, Cindy Huggins; Godson, James Huggins, Jr.; and friend, Mary Gunn.
