Ruth Gregory

Rock Hill - Mrs. Ruth Evajean Johnson Gregory, 78, died Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Mrs. Gregory was a daughter of the late Andrew Johnson and Minnie Wright Johnson. Ruth loved life! Her favorite past times would be spending time with friends, eating and trying different foods, dancing, and playing cards, and sewing. Much of her time was spent with her husband of 60 years Bernie as they raised five children two of which were theirs and three of her late sister Dorothy Hill. She and her husband also spent many, many years as ministers preaching and teaching not only their families but others about God's kingdom. Baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on December 17, 1960 this was the way of life for her. Her personality was as bright as the colors she loved to wear and any who ever met her knew that they have found a true friend. She will be truly missed by all.

Surviving are her husband, Bernard Louis Gregory; a son, Todd Gregory and his wife, Monique; a daughter, Nikkie Gregory; two sisters, Helen Thompson and Anna Mary Wright; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
