Russell Keith "Russ" Arthur

Russell Keith "Russ" Arthur, 75, died Saturday, March 4, 2017. He was a US Air Force Veteran, the former Police Commissioner of Kennesaw, GA, amember of Kennesaw Jaycees, and formerly served on the Kennesaw Volunteer Fire Dept. He was active in the VFW, the Masons, and the Shriners. He retired after 36 years from US Airways as an Instructor, and his love for farming and his family were unmeasurable. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Todd Arthur. Surviving include his wife of 21 years, Elizabeth; 2 children, Rusty Arthur, Pamela Hofius; a step-daughter, Billie Jo Devins; 7 grandchildren, Emily, Connor, Brandi, Andy, Arianna, Cameron, Cierra; 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, David Arthur; a niece, Tessa Baker. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00pm Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
