Ruby Sexton

YORK- Ruby Inez Sexton, 80, of 308 Blackburn St, died August 27, 2009, at her home.

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Saturday, at Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church with Pastors John Cody and Kevin Rife officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.

Born in Chester, S.C., Mrs. Sexton was a daughter of the late John Reuben and Ella Pressley Small. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by four sons, Roger Eugene, Reuben Lee, William Edward, and Larry Wayne Sexton; four daughters, Margaret Elaine Sutton, Linda Maxine Martin, Ella Ruth Brayall, and Lillie Dale Clay; one brother, John Reuben Small Jr.; 36 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Sexton, and a daughter, Ruby Louise Mayberry.

The family will receive friends Saturday, at the church, from 1:00 PM until time of service.
