Catawba, SC – Mrs. Glenda Robin Pittman Compton, 64, died Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at her home.

The family will receive friends 10:00 am Monday, October 5, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint, Rock Hill Ward, 1883 Saluda Road, Rock Hill, SC. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be Noon Tuesday, October 6, 226, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 2858 North Carolina Hwy 150, Lincolnton, NC 280992.

A native of Henderson, NC, she was a daughter of the late Richard Thornwell Pittman and Margart Juliet George Pittman. She was a member of The of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She will be remembered as a lady who loved her family.

She is survived by her husband, David W. Compton; a son, Richard Charles Pittman three sisters, Karen Pittman, Alisa Beaver, and Pamela “Pepper” Wright; a cousin who was as close as a sister, Lorie Parker; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David Russell Pittman.
