Robert (Bob) passed away on May 30, 2026 after a brief illness. He was born in Syracuse NY in November 1949.

He graduated from Assumption Catholic Highschool and then joined the US Marine Corps. After his Honorable Discharge from The Marines he attended Central City Business Institute where he earned an Accounting degree.

From there life took him to Key Bank where he held several positions prior to retiring after 30 years. Bob relocated to South Carolina in 2006 and shortly thereafter joined the team at Home Depot. He retired from there in November 2025.

Over the years his many friends and colleagues knew him affectionately as “Kaz”. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Margaret Kaczmarczyk.

There will be a Mass to honor Bob on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill, SC at 11:30AM. He will be inurned in the St. Philip Neri Columbarium immediately following the Mass.

As is customary with our beloved veterans he will have full Military Honors.
