CATAWBA, SC – Mr. Richard Milton Cribb, Jr., age 63, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born March 24, 1963, in Charlotte, NC, and was the son of Mary Plummer Cribb and the late Richard Milton Cribb.

Richard loved the freedom of riding his beloved Harley-Davidson and had an extraordinary gift for music as one of the most naturally talented guitar players to have ever picked up the instrument.  Richard was deeply loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Richard is survived by his mother, Susan Cribb; his daughter, Erica McKinnon (Chip); and two grandchildren, Emmaleigh Sanders and Ricky McKinnon.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Richard Milton Cribb.

The Celebration of Life Service for Richard will be 1:00 pm Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Chapel of Whitesell Funeral Home, 975 Riverview Road, Rock Hill, SC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
