Obituary

Patricia “Trish” Burris, 66, of Fort Mill was called home by The Lord on June 28, 2026. She was welcomed into the arms of Jesus as she was hand in hand with her Man of God here on earth. She was a vessel of God’s goodness and grace, and a selflessly devoted wife, mother, grammy, sister, aunt, friend, and missionary.

She was a member of the Fort Mill Church of God. Trish, along with her Man of God, were the founders of Hearts Secured Ministry. Trish poured her heart and soul into the ministry, while serving alongside her soulmate, Billy. She was truly the hands and feet of Jesus. She planted seeds of faith that will continue to bear fruit for generations to come. She was truly an angel on earth.

Waiting for her in Heaven were her parents, Janice Hagins Hollins and Rev. Dr. William Joseph “Bill” Hollins, and her father-in-law, Billy Burris Sr. She had many aunts, uncles, grandparents, and brothers and sisters in Christ who were also awaiting her arrival in Heaven.

Trish leaves a legacy of love in her loving Man of God, Billy Ray Burris Jr., their children, and grandchildren. She was the proud mother of seven children: Tabitha Krueger (Justin), Ashlee Threatt (Adam), Melanie Jackson, Stefanee Terry (Aaron), Kemberlee Howard (Lance), Becca Blackwelder (Jeremy), and Billy Ray Burris III (Jillian). She was the best Grammy to 27 grandangels: Jayden Coree Gallo (Nick), McKenzie Stevenson, Chase Krueger, Chandler Threatt (Zoey), Lexi Stevenson, Carson Krueger, Billy Ray Burris IV, Bella Jackson, Rick Jackson, Gavin Threatt, Asher Terry, Harper Howard, Charlie Jackson, Jamee Burris, Cara Krueger, Henslee Howard, Delaney Blackwelder, Abe Terry, Elijah Threatt, Hollis Howard, Jackson Blackwelder, Hank Howard, Lily Blackwelder, Spencer Grace Threatt, Sammy Terry, and Amelia Rose. She had one great-grandangel Luca Gallo. Trish and Billy have an adopted daughter in Panama, Patricia Macias. She leaves behind her siblings, Dr. Joseph Hollins (Victoria), Anne Holmes, and Dr. John Hollins. She was a loving sister-in-law to Marchai Bruchey (Mike), Donnie Burris (Kim), and Cindi Brock (Alex), and her mother-in-law, June Burris. Trish was lovingly blessed with so many special and dear nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. She will forever be cherished by her loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the ministry that was so close to her heart: Hearts Secured Ministry, P.O. Box 1534, Fort Mill, SC 29716. May these gifts continue the work of sharing Christ’s love and the hope of the Gospel, reflecting the legacy she faithfully lived.

The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, July 5, from 4:00pm -8:00pm at the Fort Mill Church of God in the main sanctuary. The memorial service will be Monday, July 6, at 11:00am at the Fort Mill Church of God in the main sanctuary. The address for the church is 221 Academy Street, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
