Patricia Jones Burkett

Rock Hill, South Carolina - Patricia J. Burkett entered the gates of Glory at 5:05pm on Saturday, February 12th, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on August 28th, 1932, to her loving parents, Charlie and Mattie Johns of Lanett, AL.  She was one of six children.  Patricia was married to Melvin G. Burkett until his passing.  She was a loving wife and mother.  She fulfilled her destiny by going back to school at the age of 50 to become a nurse where she lived out her passion of serving others.

Patricia is survived by her three children; all of Rock Hill, SC, George Burkett (wife Judy), Patty Helms, Darrell Burkett (wife Frankie) and her husband of 19 years Otis Wells; numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren that she loved dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Park Baptist Church of Rock Hill at 11:00am on Wednesday February 16th, 2022.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
