Roddey Brown
ROCK HILL - Otis Roddey Brown, 72, of 405 World Changers Lane, died Friday, January 17, 2014, at the Veterans Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Monday, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Catawba Ward, with Bishop Bob Trimnal officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church and other times at his daughter's home, 428 Young Warrior Town Dr.
Born in Rock Hill, Roddey is the son of the late Richard and Mary Ann Ayers Brown. He was retired printer having worked for several printing companies over the years. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Catawba Indian Nation Tribe. He was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He is survived by two daughters, Pamela B. Wright and Karen D. Brown; one son, Alan R. Brown; Three brothers, Donald Brown Sr., Hazel Brown Sr., and Herman Brown Sr.; three sisters, Nettie Funderburk, Grace Willis, and Sue Brown-Gunderson; 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son, Otis Wayne Brown.
