Olive Lenora Fonner

Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Olive Lenora Thomas Fonner, 84, died Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Mercy House.

A native of Washington, PA, Mrs. Fonner was a daughter of the late Albert Thomas and Anna Elizabeth Swihart Thomas. She enjoyed her two favorite restaurants, Town Tavern and Empire Pizza both of Rock Hill. When she and Jim had a Motorcycle, she enjoyed riding.

Surviving are her significant other, Jim Orndoff; a daughter, Pam Skirble (Jeff); two grandchildren, Josh and Steven; a sister, Juanita; daughter-in-law, Crystle Richards; stepdaughters, Kim Vance (Brian) and Cindy Yeager (Marty); step granddaughter, Kelia Soucy Lopata (Matthew); four step great-grandchildren, Haiden Souey, Nevaeh Lopata, Auriella Lopata, and Kaihler Lopata. She is also survived by two special neighbors, Norma Thomas and Mrs. Mercy; and two special friends who have helped her many different experiences Tom and Haley; and a good friend at Empire Pizza, Carl. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Dennis Slider; and a stepson, James Edwin Orndoff, II; and grandson, Trent Soucy.
