Catawba - Mrs. Nellie Ledford Erdy, 73, died Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at her home.
Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Saturday, at Whitesell Funeral Home and the family will receive friends one hour before the service (5 p.m.)
A native of Chester County Mrs. Erdy was a daughter of the late Lloyd D Ledford and Martha Miller Ledford.
Surviving are her husband, David E Erdy, Sr.; her children Susan E. Bishop, David E Erdy, Jr., Teresa Hinson, and Joy Chavez; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

The family request that people make a donation to a charity of their choice rather than send flowers.
