Nell Lineberger Ferguson

Nell Lineberger Ferguson, 100, of Catawba died on April 16, 2018 at White Oak Manor in Lancaster, SC. Born in Catawba, SC she was one of seven children born to the late Miles Hoffman Lineberger and Nellie Harrell Lineberger. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James T. Ferguson, whom she was married to for 64 years, a granddaughter Susan Shuelein and a step-grandson Allen R. Joy. She is survived by her beloved family, son James T. Ferguson Jr. (Cora Lee) of Sanford, NC, daughter Sarah Meyer (Gene) of Rock Hill, SC and a daughter Mary Louise Brunson of Lancaster, SC, sister Henrietta Duncan of Columbia, SC; 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed the beauty of nature, her flowers and garden, the beach, family and friends. She especially loved being with children. A service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2pm at Catawba United Methodist Church, 4785 College Road, Catawba, SC. Visitation will be from 1-2pm at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
