Nancy Lindholm Roberts, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was the widow of Lilbern “Bob” Beryl Roberts, who preceded her in death in 1991.
Nancy was born in Teaneck, New Jersey, to Cornelius and Hattie Lindholm. She was the cherished sister of Arne Lindholm and Cornelius “Buddy” Lindholm, both of whom also predeceased her. A proud graduate of Beaver College, Nancy’s life was marked by a deep love of family, education, and adventure.
She married Bob after his graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point, beginning their life together with an overseas assignment in Japan. They later settled in Paramus, NJ, where they raised their family. Moves to Washington Crossing, PA, Trumbull, CT, and finally Tega Cay, SC, followed—each home filled with warmth and laughter.
Nancy is survived by her four children: Dwight Carlson Roberts (Sharon), David McBeath Roberts (Judi), Linda Allen (Rick), and Cornelia “Corey” Hillman. She was a devoted grandmother to twelve granddaughters: Juliet, Kiara, Katherine, Laura, Margaret (Kendall), Kirsten, Carly, Dana, Tracy, Elisa, Karina, and Nancy. She also leaves behind seven great-grandchildren: Wade, Evie, Rose, Malaki, Micah, Peridot, and Renias.
Nancy’s kindness, intelligence, and gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the generations of family she so lovingly nurtured.
