Obituary

Millard Wesley Thompson (Wes), lovingly known as “Paw,” passed away peacefully on May 30th, 2026 at the age of 60.

Wes was a man of strength, resilience, and unconditional love. While he faced many challenges throughout his life, he never let them define him. Instead, he filled his days with the things and people he loved most.

A lifelong lover of music, Wes found joy behind a drum set, where he could lose himself in the rhythm and beat. He also cherished time spent fishing with his longtime friends, creating memories and friendships that lasted a lifetime.

Above all, Wes’ greatest love was his family. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Lisa, and a proud grandfather to his beloved granddaughters, Della and Etta. Being their Paw was one of the greatest blessings of his life. Whether sharing laughs, stories, or simply spending time together, the love he had for his girls was evident to everyone who knew him. They brought endless joy to his life, and the memories they shared will be treasured forever.

Wes will be remembered for his kind heart, his determination, his love of music and the outdoors, and the deep devotion he showed to those he loved. Though he may no longer be with us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of his family and friends and in the countless lives he touched.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; his cherished granddaughters, Della and Etta; step daughter Kiersten (Jake), his mother Patricia (Warren), sisters Kathy, Jane and brother Richard (Becky) and many friends and loved ones who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his Dad, Hilldred Thompson, both sets of grandparents, Millard & Jane Thompson, Wesley & Gladys Justice, and brother in law Thomas Rickman.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Wes’ love remains with us always. His memory will forever be a blessing, and his legacy will continue through the family he loved so deeply.
