Michael Austin Murphy

A graveside service with military honors will be held for Michael Austin Murphy on Thursday, July 27th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Born in Daytona Beach, Florida to Joseph and Florence Murphy, Mr Murphy was a resident of Tega Cay, South Carolina. Mr. Murphy honorably served his country in the Navy during the Viet Nam war. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; a daughter, Amanda Lynn Schaefer (Jeffery); two sisters, Lynn Penny and Nancy Kokoris; two grandchildren; Zachary Gabriel Schaefer, and Dylan Michael Schaefer; and a brother in-law, Arthur G. Nostad.
