Pastor Mike served The Lord in many ways. He was a police officer, a firefighter, a social worker, a church program coordinator, and retired after thirty years as a United Methodist Minister. Michael was a constant champion for equal rights and absolute inclusion for all people.

The greatest joy in his life is his family. He married Linda Hinson Leonhardt in 1979. Along with his two daughters, Amanda Leonhardt and Sarah Passmore (Geoff), he has 6 grandchildren: Madalyn Cunningham (Quez), Lynda Rose Passmore, Ryan Michael Tucker, C.J. Passmore, Faith Passmore, and Patience Passmore.
