Rock Hill-- Mattie L. Tipton, 89, of Rock Hill, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Rock Hill and is survived by: Her husband: Edward C Tipton; 3 children: Sybil Diane Tipton Smith, John E. Tipton, Margaret Ann Tipton Mazura; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive. A funeral service will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at 3:00pm in the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church.
