Obituary

Marybeth Margaret Robinson, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic car accident on February 27, 2026. She was born on September 18, 1982, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Marybeth graduated from Appalachian State University and the Medical University of South Carolina. As a physical therapist, she was especially passionate about caring for older adults and brought compassion, dignity, and heartfelt care to those she served.

Marybeth was a devout follower of Christ, and her faith was the foundation of her life. She was very active in her church and faithfully attended Transformation Church in Indian Land, South Carolina. She truly dedicated her life to serving others through her faithful service to God, and her kindness and compassion were evident in all she did.

Another deep passion of Marybeth’s was serving foster and adoptive families. She poured herself into loving, encouraging, and caring for them with grace, compassion, and selflessness. Above all, Marybeth was a loving mother and devoted wife. She loved being part of her sons’ lives and found great joy in walking alongside them through everyday moments and milestones. She especially enjoyed traveling and spending time outdoors. She will be remembered for the love she gave to her family and for the many lives she touched throughout her life.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joey Robinson; her sons, Cannon and Colton; her parents, Beth and Larry Frick; her grandmothers, Emily Cook and Trudy Frick; her brother, Trevor, and his wife, Elizabeth; and her brother, Preston, and his wife, Shelley.

Marybeth’s life was a beautiful reflection of faith, service, and love, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
