Mary Janet Howe Haenlin

Mary Janet Howe Haenlin “Jan”, 88, of Fort Mill SC passed away Monday June 23rd 2025. She was born on February 1, 1937, in Oneida, New York, daughter of Harold and Noreen Howe. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her brothers Robert and John Howe and sister Carol Redding.

She leaves her loving husband of nearly 70 years Robert and daughters, Laurie Melberg (Eric) and Jennifer Grooms (Nathan) And son William Haenlin (Nicole). She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A funeral to be held at Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill, South Carolina on Monday, June 30 at 11:30am.

Most important to Jan was her family and she will be forever remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all of the hospice, nurses, physicians and staff for their unwavering compassionate and supportive care that was provided. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
