Mary Susan Long Harris

Rock Hill - Mrs. Mary Susan Long Harris, 67, of 1935 Sanders Road, died Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Saints, Catawba Ward, with Bishop Bob Trimnal officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Harris was a daughter of the late Samuel Everett Long and Mary Frances Bennett Long. She retired after driving a school bus for 22½ years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved birds and nature and she liked playing computer games.

Surviving are a son, Michael E Hobbs (Tracy); three daughters, Betty J. Johnson (John), Wanda H. Bibb (Joe), and Tammy B Harrell; a brother, Mark W. Long, Sr. (Ann); a sister, Carol Craig (Joe); 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Benjamin Harris; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Hobbs.

The family will receive friends Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at Whitesell Funeral Home.
